Located in the University of Bournemouth's Media School, SCAN organises new media collaborations between individual artists and arts organisations.
On Thursday 2 April 2009, Portable Radio spoke with artists Tom Wilson, David Evans, Pauline Stanley and Sarah Gorman; Ania Bas, artist and Business Co-ordinator and Events Curator at KUBE in Poole; Susan Sloan, artist and lecturer at the National Centre for Computer Animation in University of Bournemouth; and Helen Sloan from SCAN.
On Friday 3 April 2009, Portable Radio spoke with artists Jo Tyler and Zoe Sinclair; Alain Renaud, network artist and lecturer in music and audio technology; Matt Desmier, Head of Enterprise Unit at Art Institute Bournemouth; Adam Gent, arts development officer at Bournemouth Council; Melinda McCheyne, gallery manager of Artsway; Violet McLean, director of text + work gallery; and Jean Briggs, architect working in Glasgow.
